Scott Brown the Mystery Man

Will he swing right and become an ally in the fight against all policies with the Obama/Democrat stamp of approval? Will he swing left to placate those traditionally liberal Massachusetts voters? Or, dare it be suggested, maybe he will keep his feet in both aisles and make his political decisions a la carte. The theories are flying, and Politico has them for you here. At issue now are votes on health care, jobs, and the White House nomination for head of the National Labor Relations Board, among others.

As for what Senator Scott Brown had to say just moments after being sworn in:

Brown said there was “no hidden agenda” in his decision to push for seating one week early and that he wanted to get to work immediately given the national security threats to the country and the problems facing the economy.

Asked if he’d mind joining Democrats and be the 60th vote to break a filibuster, Brown said: “Well, I’ll be the 41st vote.”
